In this virtual escape room, learners will visit different countries whilst completing challenging using a variety of skills such as critical thinking, decoding, and geographical knowledge of continents, oceans, landmarks and landforms. Geography is one of the rare disciplines that cross the line between social science and natural science. In fact, it is both sciences. This makes geography one of the most complex, wide reaching, and fascinating subjects you can study. In this virtual escape room, learners will work collaboratively to race around the world, completing challenges along the way. Challenges will require critical thinking skills, geographical knowledge, linguistic knowledge and team working skills. The teacher will assist where needed and guide learners to complete the challenges. Due to the nature of escape rooms, the class may last slightly longer or finish slightly earlier than the stated time. Please note, the escape room includes reading and writing and learners will benefit from having knowledge of world geography before taking this class. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!
