Teacher expertise and credentials
I believe that tabletop roleplaying can inspire learners to develop a love of creative writing that can last a lifetime. The past couple of decades have introduced new narrative styles of play to tabletop roleplaying that embrace creative writing aspects while being more accessible for learners. I want to share these narrative style games with learners to motivate new and up and coming writers. I offer classes covering character creation, creative writing, and on going campaigns to explore dynamic characters and fantastic alien worlds.

Many writers today utilize tabletop roleplaying games as a tool for crafting full and rich stories. Roleplaying games have had major influences in pop culture through movies, video games and books. Tabletop roleplaying has been embraced by educators that have seen the benefits of creativity, critical thinking and cooperative story telling that has learners engaging in new and exciting ways.

As a Game Master for 13 years and homeschooling father of 2, I love telling and hearing epic tales that challenge your imagination and spark creativity. Using tabletop roleplaying games, together we can create the sci-fi and fantasy stories you want to hear and write! My classes will utilize virtual tabletop technologies to create immersive worlds and track your stats while igniting your imagination!. Roleplaying at its core is collaborative storytelling and offers a "scaffolding" for aspiring and struggling writers. Breaking the story down into individual actions places the player in the role of a hero character to solve problems creatively with critical thinking.
Use my introduction to tabletop games classes and/or beginners games to prepare for full length multi-session campaigns.
Running tabletop roleplaying games at public conventions, online virtually, and in person private games for 13 years, I have often to taught to beginners. Volunteering with my Star Wars costuming club, I have helped raise awareness for autism and organized events for fans with extended stays in children's ICU's. Ask me about my tiny house on wheels!

Introductory classes and beginner game classes are for new and first time players.

Campaign classes are for learners who have completed an introductory class or beginner game. Learners may use their own custom created hero character from my hero character creation class to play with or I will supply a premade character.

My creative writing classes may be paired with Campaign classes and character creation classes.
