In this course, students will be introduced to Mrs. G. and the "Simply Music" method of piano instruction. We will also learn the beginning of one song together :). Class will be followed by a Q&A about beginning piano lessons. The video above is a student who has been taking lessons for 2 years and 3 months with Mrs. G. using the Simply Music Method and about 1/2 of practicing 5 days a week:). I've been playing the piano and organ for over forty years. I've been a registered "Simply music" teacher for almost four years. I have experience as a church organist. I was also given intensive piano instruction from Interlocken Arts and Music Camp.
There is no homework for this one session course.
For this session, students will need access to a piano keyboard. If students decide that they want to take piano lesson with Mrs. G. , she will direct you to your online materials.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will play for the class (if they like) and will be able to ask questions.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
