Class experience
In this introductory class, learners will discover secrets to drawing a caricature of their friends and family in the profile view. We will begin by studying the head in profile view. After establishing the building blocks, each learner will use their selected photo to draw from. I will show them how to draw in a step-by-step process, making it simple and easy for them to follow along regardless of skill level. Students will improve their ability to understand the structure of the head in profile view and learn how to draw a likeness of friends and family in an easy-to-follow step-by-step process.
I have over 20 years of experience creating custom illustrations including portraits, caricatures, and cartoons. I am excited to share the skills I've picked up over the years with your learner! I hope to foster in them an ever-growing desire to explore their artistic potential.

Learners will receive encouraging feedback during class and will also be encouraged to provide positive reinforcement to each other.Grades Offered
A sharpened, pencil, crayon, colored pencil, or any other basic drawing tool. They can also use any digital illustration tool, including Procreate or Photoshop. I will be projecting my digital drawing using Photoshop. However the students can use whatever drawing material they have at their disposal.
