Armenian is an independent branch of Indo-European language, historically spoken in the Armenian Highlands. It has a long literary history, with a 5th-century Bible translation as its oldest surviving text.

This class is a 15 minute easy beginner class. The goal is to make students interested in learning a new language, boost their confidence, meet other learners, and have fun.

We will learn something new in Armenian each time we meet. 
Every class meeting will have new content. The students will learn at least one letter, one word, one phrase or sentence during each class. We will write, draw, paint and learn to pronounce words in Armenian.

Sample of schedule
Week of Feb 2: Learning to write one letter (letter A) from the Armenian alphabet, and learning to say one word (hello). 
Week of Feb: learning to write another letter (letter E) and learning to say one word (come)
Week of Feb 16: learning to write one letter (letter R) and making a drawing with the shape of that letter
Week of Feb 23: learning to write one letter (letter M) and learning to say one sentence ( I want water)
