In this course we'll learn step by step how to set up the board, how each piece moves, the rules of the game and a little bit of strategy. This is a wonderful game for highly visual type learners. Chess is also an incredible problem solving game and great for learning how to focus better but there's a lot to learn before learners can even start to play. It would be good if learners had their own chess board with the numbers and letters so that they can learn the correct notation for the game.
