Students will improve their writing skills by following a structured format and learning to add style to their sentences. 
Students will gain confidence in writing.
Students will grow their vocabulary.
Students will improve their English grammar.
Students will read and discuss classic literature.
I am an accredited IEW instructor.
Homework Offered
Students will be assigned homework to complete and turn in after each class. Students will be assigned chapters to read before class. Students should arrive to class with chapters already read. Essays should be typed in MLA format.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I will serve as the editor for student papers. Student essays will be assessed according to the provided checklist.
Grades Offered
Students must be strong readers and have a solid understanding of basic English grammar.
