The students will learn: • Learn how to explore and appreciate their inner qualities • Learn how to build their confidence and self-esteem • Learn how to explore and appreciate their personal achievements • Learn what positive affirmations are and how to use them effectively • Learn what self-care is and how to utilize...
Students will focus on loving themselves from the inside out. Students will learn about self-care, self-esteem and self-confidence!
Kathryn has a B.A in Psychology and a M.A. in Counseling. She also has over twenty years of non-profit management experience implementing, conducting and managing youth programs.
Handouts are supplied by the teacher and will need to be printed out prior to class. Scissors Glue stick Pens Markers and/or colored pencils A piece of thick paper, card stock or mini poster board in size 11 x 17 or 12 x 12 (Any piece of paper that is sturdy and larger than a standard notebook piece of paper size, but not as big as a full poster board size.) A journal or notebook A mason jar or clean recycled jar with a lid Foam brush or thicker paint brush Acrylic or chalk paint (any color they choose) A ribbon (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
