Class Experience
I will teach student the multiples of 7! We will sing 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84! Then, we will draw arrays to discuss that multiplication means counting groups of numbers! We will discuss drawing arrays as a strategy for solving multiplication! We will also discuss that skip counting by 7 is another strategy to use when solving a multiplication problem! We will build math fluency by multiplying by seven together! Students will create flash cards or notes that list the...
Students will improve their understanding of the multiples of 7, and students will be able to multiply by 7. The largest fact we will discuss is 7 multiplied by 12.
I have taught on Outschool for three years! I love to use singing to help students remember math skills! I have the patience and enthusiasm to help students love math!
Students will create flash cards or notes in class, and they may review these after class.
Please bring index cards for making flash cards of the multiplication facts. If that's not possible, then please bring paper for taking notes, to write out the math multiplication facts. Thank you!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
