Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello and welcome to the magical world of writing! My name is Melissa Kuch and I am the author of the Amazon bestselling YA fantasy/adventure series "The Hypothesis of Giants."

I first realized that I wanted to become a writer when I read my short story in front of my 3rd grade class. I knew at that moment that I wanted to become a writer and years later I had the opportunity to dedicate my first novel to my 3rd grade teacher who inspired me and instilled the love of writing in me at a young age.

Today I am an advocate for literacy and continue to inspire the next generation of authors through my writing workshop and mentoring programs. I was nominated as one of the Best Authors of Long Island and have also been the keynote speaker for 2019 and 2023’s Genre Con and a panelist for the Ozark Book Con. I have taught hundreds of students over the past ten years across the Tri-State area and now I am looking forward to teaching your child about the magic of writing! I can't wait to inspire your child to get started on this wonderful and exciting writing journey.
