During this 7 week, multi-day class, students will be learning how to draw a photo realistic face in graphite and color pencil (if time allows). Each class, students will work alongside the teacher to complete their drawings. This way the students can see the step-by-step process of creating portraits. We will learn about the basics of facial features and how to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth before moving on to bone structure and musculature. After learning how to draw the basic anatomy of a face, we will then create a frontal portrait, a 3/4s portrait, and profile portrait.
