In this one time class, we will explore value to create drawings of realistic 3D forms.
Class experience
Students will learn the difference between shapes and forms. We will practice creating values by first making a value scale, creating values from light to dark. We will move to drawing forms such as a sphere, cube, cylinder and cone. We will discuss how a light source affects the values on an object.
