US Grade Kindergarten
This class is a great way to review those math counting and addition concepts for incoming Kindergartners and First Graders especially right before going back to school. We will interact throughout and focus on counting from 1 to 20 and adding numbers totaling no more than 20. Using Legos in this class, we will continue to learn using play. My energetic teaching style will help encourage these young students to succeed in increasing their confidence in not only counting but also addition skills. It is encouraged that students can count to 20 before taking this class.

Parental Guidance
Students will work on their math skills using Legos in class today. Please bring some loose lego pieces to class for us to use when counting and adding. We will specifically need legos with 1,2,4,6, and 8 pegs for counting and other legos for building/playing. We will interact and have a great time together doing math!

I have included an addition mat, please bring this to class with you too. The additional practice worksheet and the color sheet are for your student to practice and enjoy after class if they'd like! I can't wait to learn through play with you.

I have been teaching children for over 20 years. My education is extensive, including a Bachelors Degree from University of New York at Buffalo, and I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree. I have vast experience teaching children in elementary and middle school settings as well as virtually teaching core subjects such as Math, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
My teaching style is very entertaining, pulling from my performance career. My performing credits include Touring the World with Broadway’s Evita, Sesame Street Live, and performing in Disney World Theme Parks as well as regional theatres for children and adults alike. It is extra fun to take class from the real life Pinkalicious, Little Red Riding Hood and Dorothy!
