ProCreate Dreams a NEW animation app for creating animations and motion graphics. Perfect for students who aspire to create profesional animation series, edit YouTube videos, music videos, etc! Unlike the original ProCreate, It has the ability to edit photos, videos and sound in a powerful way that truly must be experienced for the artist themselves. I highly recommend this app for students who have grown to love ProCreate, as it provides a familiar digital environment, while also introducing a multitude of professional revolutionary new tools. I am very excited to see how the younger generation of artists will utilize this new, growing technology. What’s best for me, “ProCreate” or “ProCreate Dreams”? Because these programs can work together, I recommend students start off with the original ProCreate and upgrading to ProCreate Dreams when they are more comfortable. While both programs have the ability to animate, ProCreate is more for illustration and ProCreate Dreams is more for animation. What Will I learn in This Class? In addition to learning tools and basics app functionality, I’m available to help students with tech issues, drawing, audio editing, video editing, cinematography, file formatting, project time management , and project release. I recommend re-occurring students use class time to work on their goals and personal projects. How Often Should I Take Class? Students are welcome to take this private class once to get a helping start, or as many times as needed for individualized private tutoring. For complete beginners, more than one class may be required to learn how to use the program efficiently. Students may want to book multiple slots throughout the week if they have a relatively slow drawing process or enjoy speaking in depth about the topic. Below is an outline of the class structure to help you get an idea of what you can expect in this 55 min. session (I will adjust this structure unique to the student). Greetings At the start of class, the student and teacher will introduce themselves/ make conversation. I wish to make the student excited, and feel that I am happy to see and draw with them today. If you are a regular student, I will ask if you have made any art within the past week. If comfortable, the student can share their artwork and have a constructive discussion about it. I invite students to also speak about any creative blocks or frustrations in art they’ve had. I will give my best advice and resources to turn these moments into positive, teachable moments. If parents have not made any special requests on what they would like their learner to focus on, I will determine what we will focus on based on the student’s interests, level, and experience. Learn Tools/ How to Animate If needed, together we will go through our method/ animation tools. I will explain the tools, and guide students how to set up an animation project. Students will follow along, and showcase to me they can use the tools and describe them with correct names and explanation. I am very familiar with iPads, and the Procreate app so I can assist students with any questions they may have. I encourage students to challenge my logic, and also to take the opportunity to practice communicating about their ideas, methods, and problems. These skills will help students grow, and articulate their passion with logic and confidence. Animate I will help the student animate according to the students interest, age, and level. We can create something more complicated, or simple like a ball or stick figure. Students are free to draw a different topic , follow the teacher, or create their own style independently. If students run into any issues with drawing, procreate, or the iPad, I will help them find a solution. As we draw, I will make conversation or discuss the drawing method. Goodbyes Students and teacher will share a goodbye.

When learning a language, you must exercise use your brain to think in that language. When the student knows they can easily be told the answer, it affects how much effort they put in. Students who don’t take the time to think, will have difficulty mastering further material, or will easily forget what they have just learned. Instead of telling your child the answer, I will walk them through the thinking/speaking process of a native speaker. Sometimes this means sounding out a sentence, or re-reading a short story. Doing so, will increase their response speed.

I like to teach my students to recognize patterns in the English language, and to ensure they can pronounce sounds more naturally. We may discus what is acceptable in formal and informal situations. This equips children with tools to pronounce new words independently, and to develop an English native’s view.
