In this Halloween themed beginner class students will learn some fundamental Hip Hop dance movements to fun Halloween music. Class begins with a warm-up then choreography is taught. Get ready to move, shake, and get your Hip Hop on!

This fun Halloween themed class introduces basic beginner Hip Hop dance movements and combinations. The class begins with a short warm-up then students learn choreography to a fun, upbeat age appropriate spooky Halloween song. Students will learn stretches to work on flexibility and coordination skills. Students are welcome to wear their Halloween costume to class as long as they can move and dance comfortably in it. Attire can also be a t-shirt and shorts. Students can go barefoot or wear sneakers. Please make sure that there is an open area to move safely in and no obstacles in the way. They are welcome to have a water bottle near by for a quick water break.
Learning Goals
The goal of the class is to introduce students to basic movements of Hip Hop dance. It is fun, upbeat, and great exercise!

I have been a dance instructor for over 18 years in all styles of dance. One of my favorite styles is Hip Hop because it is so energetic and keeps the students engaged. My Hip Hop choreography has been performed at Houston Rockets basketball games, Globetrotter games, and at many dance competitions and events.
