In this flex class, we'll learn through hands-on science experiments and stem activities that are fun, engaging and educational!
Class experience
This flex class will focus on hands on science activities and experiments. Many will have a gross or "ick" factor to help engage the kids and get their minds moving. Each week we will complete either a "gross" experiment or STEM activity to include biology, anatomy and chemistry. Being a flex class, learners will visit the classroom each week to see an introduction video to that week's activity or experiment, including a brief explanation of the science at work and example as well as listing...
A supply list for each activity will be included in the classroom each week.
The skin layers cake and the mold growing experiments will require using the stove to heat water for the jello. Parental guidance is advised for that activity. Parents should provide oversight for other experiments as you deem appropriate for your child's age and ability level.
