Grandmaster Chess Course for Beginners

During the online chess class students will learn all the rules of the game, how to move chess pieces, basic strategies of how to develop pieces, control the center, the goal of the game, understand important checkmate methods.

Every lesson is independent and new kids could join anytime!
We will work in detail on many different examples about the following themes:

11am EST classes:
Class - Saturday, Feb 5: Pawns and tricks with them, including the en-passant. 
Class - Saturday, Feb 12: King and how this piece is important in chess.
Class - Saturday, Feb 19:  The Queen and her power.
Class - Saturday, Feb 26: Rooks and special moves with them, including the castling.
Class - Saturday, Mar 5: Bishops and sneaky diagonals.
Class - Saturday, Mar 12: Knights and crazy jumps over other pieces.
Class - Saturday, Mar 19: How to set up the board and start the game.
Class - Saturday, Mar 26: A check, checkmate, stalemate, and other outcomes of the game.


If your child is a beginner at chess or knows a bit about a chess game - this ongoing chess course is the right course!

I will share my screen with a chess program, where the kids will be able to see the chessboard and actually move the pieces by themselves. Kids play vs each other after the lecture. Every student will have a chance to play a game and participate in our discussions.
The kids could be absolute beginners or know how to play chess a bit. We will cover the basics and learn more!
