The college application process for grade 12 is the beginning of a new chapter in a student's educational journey. It is an exciting process and can be stressful. Let me take the stress out of the situation and help build confidence in the student and their ability to apply to the best-fit college for them. Students will improve their understanding of themselves and what they are looking for in a college education setting. They will have 1-1 support as they work on their applications and prepare them for submission.
Annie Edwards has for nearly four decades been a teacher, administrator, and mentor in an independent school setting. She grew up in Maine. Most recently, Annie served as the Director of University Guidance at Beijing City International School in Beijing, China. She designed and delivered a college prep program for grades 9-12 and presented workshops on topics including course selection, exploring extracurricular activities, individual student self-discovery, creating the college list, studying in the US and abroad, as well as the entire college search and application process. Prior to that post, Annie resided in upstate New York in the U.S where she served as the Associate Director of College Guidance, Academic Director, and Advisor of the Community service program. She also taught French, English, and psychology. Annie holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University, a master's degree from Middlebury College, a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA, and is currently working on a second master's degree in international school counseling.
