Students will continue to practice figurative language.Assessment
Students will be assessed informally by the teacher.Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 6
Students will learn about figurative language. Students will also be able to identify figurative language in a text (poetry, lyrics of songs, or prose) and the theme. Then they'll be able to interpret and write figurative language in creative writing. Knowing simile, metaphor, personification, and hyperbole will help the students in reading and writing. I have taught elementary and middle school, and students are expected to recognize figurative language, interpret them, and write their own. Let's work together to equip your learner.
Learning Goals
Students will read selected texts and express themselves creatively through figurative language.
