Students may wish to continue adding finishing touches after class time has ended.Class Experience
In this fun and interactive one time class, students will fold and decorate their own gingerbread house! I will lead students through step by step directions to fold their houses. Then students will brainstorm ideas for decorating their houses. Once our ideas are set, we will draw and color our beautiful 3D paper houses Throughout the process students are encouraged to add their own creative touches to their artworks. As students work, I always make sure to provide feedback, encouragement, and additional instructions as needed. If time allows, at the end of class our young artists will have the opportunity to share their artwork with their classmates. **Although each demonstration will be finished by the end of class, students may want to continue working on their masterpieces after we have signed off for the day. Everyone works at a different speed, and it's better to take our time than to rush! Supplies Needed: -9x12" or 8.5x11" white paper (**white printer/copy paper or drawing paper is perfect) -Crayons -Markers (ex. washable Crayola markers) -Pencil and eraser
