In section 1 of this 5 part class, students will learn the ins and outs of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing both integers and rational numbers, solving equations with unknown variables, and plotting points on a graph.

Students will be able to apply and extend previous understandings of operations with fractions to add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers. They will also be able to use properties of operations to generate equivalent expressions and solve real-life and mathematical problems using numerical and algebraic expressions and equations.
I have a Bachelor's degree from Arkansas State University in Mid-Level Education with an emphasis in Math and Science.
Homework Offered
One practice sheet will be given as homework after each class. We will review the homework sheet at the beginning of each class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Some of the material I will be using comes from the "Big Ideas 7th Grade Math" book. I used this to teach in my B&M class. The majority of the material given to students will have been created by me.

UPDATE: Unfortunately for the 22/23 school year, I will be unable to offer any FULL courses for 7th and 8th grade Math. I will be welcoming a sweet baby girl this winter and didn't want any interruptions for the courses. Only tutoring and one day...
