Beginner - Intermediate Level
In "Fraction Action: Adding and Subtracting with Flair," students will learn how to add and subtract fractions, including both like and unlike denominators, as well as simplifying fractions for easier calculations. My class will be structured with a brief model, lots of practice and a fun game at the end to master each topic. I love to have fun, open dialogue, and lots of repetition when teaching to make topics sticky. We will have fun games and class discussion every time we meet for a class.
