Students will participate in a read aloud and book discussion about the main character Suds and the choices he makes. We will try to relate it to our own lives and truly deep dive the character. We will explore his character arc and why he reacts the way he does to certain people and situations. Any student who is at the cusp of maturity can relate to this story.
Learning Goals
Students will fall in love with this book and hopefully want to explore more of Jerry Spinelli's books!
