There’s so much to know that isn’t taught in text books or part of an actual curriculum. In this class we will stretch our knowledge base with fun facts that are actually a part of daily life.
Class experience
Let’s have a hoot with Kahoot! This class is a fun way to measure what the learner already knows regarding things in the world around us. This is a fun laid back class where the learners can try to answer the questions with their best guess. Learners can keep their own points on how many they got correct. At the end of class we will have review over the trivia questions. There will be questions such as: What numbers are not used on NBA jerseys and why? Which ball would bounce...
Each learner will learn at least 5 new facts they have never heard before and be able to recall those facts at the end of class.
I am a certified middle school teacher with experience in large group discussion and quizzes.
Either the use of a second tab open on the Internet for the Kahoot game or a secondary device such a Smartphone. The learner will open Kahoot and will be given a code to join the game.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- Kahoot.it
Nothing inappropriate or sensitive will be presented or discussed.
Kahoot will be used so a second tab or another device such as a smart phone would be necessary to sign in and be able to answer the questions to get points on the board.
