I have been learning French for 6 years now, from French 1 - French 5. I am conversationally fluent and a B1/B2 level (about in between the two at the moment). I've been tutoring French since May of 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine and I've really enjoyed it. I took the French CLEP test a few years ago and got maybe 5 points away from a perfect score while testing out of and getting credit for all the French classes at my local community college. I've been working with young kids for almost 10 years, including my 5 younger siblings, several families I've babysat for, and interning at my local dance studio.
Homework will be completed on the learner's own time with parental help
Week 1 supplies: Markers/crayons/paints (we will be doing a self-portrait, so whatever medium you or your child prefers) Week 2 supplies: Playdoh in 5 colors NOTE: I used red, pink, green, blue, and purple. It might be easiest for your child to follow if they have the same colors, but it isn't necessary. Week 3 supplies: Paint that can be put on your student's hands (we will be making handprints) Paper Week 4 supplies: A small tub to fill with water Pretend dishes towels Soap (optional)
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will need to help students will homework assignments Students will also need help with the craft activities (scissors, glue, etc.)
