Class Experience

This class is to practice and develop French writing, conversing, and reading skills. We will write short paragraphs, read French, and converse in French, developing listening skills, and how to pick on clues to the questions to craft our answers.  
Every week, we will practice using French pronouns, articles, verbs, and vocabulary in sentences that you could use in your daily life, in sentences, in conversations, and in texts. 

The class runs for 11 weeks. 

During this period, we will write, read, and speak at each meeting to develop our French knowledge. We will practice thinking about how to structure and write, read, and say sentences correctly. We will translate the sentences and analyze the similarities between French and English languages.
We will learn tips on how to structure our sentences. On what vocabulary to use to be able to communicate in writing and verbally.
We will learn what to avoid writing in French and learn and practice the French orthograph. 
We will create our own phrases in French with vocabulary that we know and new ones. 
We will create our own phrases that we can use every day. 
We will chat in French. We will learn more French vocabulary. We will learn more grammar. 
We will learn to read questions and learn tips on how to answer them in writing. 
We will learn to write what we hear. 

Meeting one: We will practice the verb 'Je suis' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting two: We will practice the verb 'J'ai' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting three: We will practice the verb 'Je peux' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting four: We will practice the verb 'Je vais' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create and say our own sentences. 
Meeting five: We will practice the verb 'J'aime' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting six: We will practice the verb 'Je mets' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting seven: We will practice the verb 'Je dois' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting eight: We will practice the verb ' Je prends' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting nine: We will practice the verb 'Je donne' and write, read, and converse with it. We will create our own sentences. 
Meeting ten: We will review it all and practice writing what we hear. First 5 meetings.
Meeting eleven: We will review it all and practice writing what we hear. 5 to 9 meetings.
Learning Goals
To give the learners the words and tools how to create short paragraphs in French. How to read, and how to speak in French.

Worksheets are provided. Learners are to have a notepad with a pencil and eraser. 
Printing the worksheets for the lesson is mandatory to best develop our French skills.
