What can we learn from Superheroes? The Marvel Universe has provided vast entertainment for children (and adults), and this class seeks to utilize that entertainment for teaching!

This lesson is about the motivation behind character traits, how the past, present, and future are intertwined, and how teamwork can harness power for greater good.

Unlikely Heroes
This lesson is about all the unlikely heroes of the Marvel Universe, including Spiderman, Deadpool, and more.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Guardians of the Galaxy
This lesson is about teamwork and leverage, and how a sense of humor will benefit you throughout life.

Lesson 5
Villains of the Marvel Universe
This lesson is about the motivation behind the villains of the Marvel Universe, how some became unlikely villains, and some became twisted along the way.

I have been a special education teacher for many years, and I am more than happy to accommodate any unique learning needs for your child!
This class is meant to be fun, entertaining, and on an adolescent level. Understanding that within the world of graphic novels sometimes more mature topics can come up, if this occurs I will gently steer the conversation back to the topic at hand and refer the student back to their parent for more detailed discussion. I will also send a message to the parent so that they are aware for follow up.
During this course we will work our way through each Marvel character and movie/ graphic novel. These come from the below resources:
