This is the 1st lesson in the series of 3 lessons that will introduce beginners to the basics of playing the piano.
At the beginning of the class, we will learn about good piano posture and explore high, low, and medium sounds on the piano.
We will learn the finger numbers, black keys patterns, and will practice finding and playing the groups of 2 and 3 black keys.
Then, the teacher will tell a short story about Peter and his Cat, read a poem, and show how to play "Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater" on the black keys. Students will practice playing their new song for the remaining of the class.
Students will have a downloadable workbook that they can print out and use during the lesson or after, as they continue practicing piano outside the lesson.
