In this ongoing course, students will become text detectives to improve their reading comprehension! Students will find the evidence from the weekly passage to prove their answers. Students will demonstrate the ability to write answers in complete sentences. Students will be able to prove their answers by referring back to the text.
I have a 120hr TESOL certificate and two years of experience teaching ESL learners online for companies such as Palfish, VIPKid, GoGoKid, and Magic Ears in China, and Egg School in South Korea. I have also tutored students in local schools (ie., reading help, homework help, social skills).
Students will be provided with a 2-3 page PDF to print. They will need a pencil and either colored pencils or crayons for color-coding.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
