Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
We will read material on how millionaires achieved their financial goals and maintained their wealth. We will read about people who started out living in poverty and made their way to financial stability while living an average everyday life in an average waged career. Students will learn how to understand their pay stubs. We will discuss saving money, earning interest on saved money, everyday skills that will save money on daily expenses. Students will learn and practice how to maintain a ledger of income and outgoing expenses, Students will learn how to read, understand, and use online banking ledgers, along with understanding overdraft protection pros and cons. Students will learn about credit cards, building credit, annual fees and interest rates.
I have been teaching life skills for over 10 years in many different facets. With 5 years of online teaching experience I know the importance of keeping class engaging, with a lot of student participation.
Class participation is the only requirement.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be given an informal assessment on their understanding of materials taught. Students will review the lessons at the end of every class via worksheets in order to ensure their understanding of each topic.
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
