Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
In this book club, we will meet once a week for 10 weeks to discuss our books. We will read one book a week and students will need to be ready to talk about the story during our meeting. We will read a mix of modern and classic children's literature. The goal of the class is to help learners analyze a novel and to express their thoughts, opinions and connections to the text. This is a class for readers who "devour" books and can read a book a week. Students will have interaction with the teacher via discussion prompts and with fellow learners as we share our feelings about these novels.
