In this ongoing class, all readers are welcome! We will be discussing our favorite books. This can include genres, authors, characters..anything! We will meet together and chat about all things relating to our readings. This will be a book club. We will all learn from each other and hear the reading interpreted from several different perspectives. This will be unlike other book clubs. where each member is required to read from the same book a certain amount of pages. Each person can and should read any and every book they like and can come back to chat about it with their peers. This will allow us to add books to our "must-read" list, reflect on our past reads, and talk about them. If the times listed do not work for you, please feel free to request different days/times and I will do my best to accommodate you. Learning Goals
Students will improve reading comprehension, confidence in reading, and discussion with peers.
All different opinions are encouraged as they lead to conversation that will ultimately help us all learn and use our brains!
