Fall Break Reading Intervention Camp
This 5-day course is designed to provide middle school students with targeted support in grammar, reading fluency, decoding, and essay writing skills. Each day will focus on a specific skill area, with interactive activities and exercises.

Beginner Level
In this five-day intensive course students will cover grammar foundations including parts of speech, sentence structure and punctuation, decoding and reading fluency, vocabulary and context clues, essay structure and planning. The course will be structured with lectures, discussions, video clips, activities, and one assignment each class.

Lesson 3:
Vocabulary Development and Context Clues
Expand vocabulary through context clues and understanding word relationships. 40 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Essay Structure and Planning
Break down the steps of planning and structuring a short essay, focusing on thesis statements, topic sentences, and supporting details. 40 mins online live lesson
Other Details
Learning Needs
Differentiation and modification for students with IEPs and 504s are available. Sentence stems, graphic organizers, word banks, and modified assignments will be used to support students with exceptional needs.
