Facts About Orcas From a Former Marine Mammal Trainer (Ocean/Sea/Animal)

Hello Outschool Learners and Parents! My name is Teacher Crystal, I would love to share with you all about the world of marine life conservation, rehabilitation and training. I have worked within the animal conservation field for over 11 years. I have an extremely broad range of experience and would love to teach you all about the importance of animals and the environment. I have performed in presentations for 4 ½ years with birds, dolphins and pilot whales. I also worked for 4 years in interactions where I provided educational tours and presentations offering families personal up close experiences with the dolphins. The latter part of my career I worked at the Georgia Aquarium where I implemented a brand new educational presentation with dolphins to empower children to make a difference, through taking care of the environment and helping to preserve the future of all animal species. Throughout the chapters of my career I also had many unique experiences to help rescue and rehabilitate many different species of animals such as dolphins, sea lions and birds.
