Extreme Minecraft: Codes and Commands - After-School - 6 Week Program

In this exciting, hands-on class, students in grades 4-10 will dive into the world of coding, redstone, and Minecraft Education's built-in code editor to create incredible projects. This course is designed for experienced Minecrafters who are eager to take their skills to the next level, building massive structures, games, and entire worlds using programming and commands.

What Will Be Taught?
In this class, students will learn how to use Minecraft Education Edition’s coding tools to enhance their gameplay and design abilities. Topics covered include:

World Design: How to create intricate, visually stunning worlds that go beyond basic gameplay.
Command Blocks: Learn how to use command blocks to automate tasks, create custom rules, and add unique features to your world.
Redstone Circuitry: Unlock the secrets of redstone to build complex machinery, traps, and interactive elements in your Minecraft creations.

Class Structure & Teaching Style

The class will be divided into the following segments:
