We start every class with a body, voice, and face warm up, fun game, and "get to know you" questions before diving into acting practice! 🎭 S C H E D U L E 🎭 -Week 1: We will discuss different acting methods and practice the 3 different types of characters. -Week 2: We will practice realism acting and discuss how to cry and laugh on cue. -Week 3: We will discuss and practice many different voices and focus on voice acting. -Week 4: Students will select a monologue to memorize and rehearse. We will perform these during the last week of class. -Week 5: We will practice our monologues and give feedback and ideas to each other. -Week 6: Students will perform their monologues. We will spend the rest of the class playing fun improv games! 🎭 C R E D E N T I A L S 🎭 -Degree in Theatre Arts and Education -Two years experience in a classroom setting -Directed shows for different ages -Performed in multiple shows with experience in singing, dancing, and technical design We are going to have a blast learning about some new acting skills. Parental Guidance
We will be practicing scenes and monologues from popular movies that may have to do with relationships, death, and popularity.
