In this flexible learning course we will explore all things Ancient Egyptian! Each week we will have a pre-recorded video lesson, followed by discussion in the OutSchool classroom and class agreement on the area of Ancient Egypt that will be explored next. Each week learners will be given an assignment to complete and share with the rest of the class in the form of videos, crafts, escape rooms, written work and fun quizzes. The assignments will be adapted to the topic we have decided on as a class for the current week. We will start the first week with a lesson on Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. The classroom discussion will decide the topics and assignments of the next week's lessons, this will depend on the types of areas the children are interested in learning and the types of assignments they wish to complete. I will be on hand to provide suggestions and support in making the choices. Although this type of class does not meet live on Zoom there is a lot of interaction between the learners and myself and children will be encouraged to be part of our class.
