Etiquette Is Easy - Learning and Using Good Manners

Hi! I am Krista and I am so excited to meet and teach your student! I teach age appropriate classes on dealing with emotions, how to make good choices, socialization skills, relaxation techniques and classes that encourage and teach creativity. For older students I offer an introduction to psychology. 

I hold a masters degree in counseling and psychology. I have worked with kids ages pre-school through high school and college students for over 25 years in the clinical therapeutic setting and in the classroom. I’ve worked with children with emotional and behavioral problems and their families, taught elementary school at a private school, taught online and also at a university. 

I’ve also worked with adults with emotional and mental health problems that may have been avoided or lessened if they had learned practical, psychological skills as a child or teenager. That’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about teaching kids these concepts in a fun, comfortable, engaging and encouraging setting. My classes are interactive and use a variety of teaching methods. Some examples

I love to laugh, tell corny jokes, sing and play fun games with my grandkids. My husband and I love to kayak and travel. We’re always looking for an adventure! Sometimes though we just like to stay home and play with our little dog.
