This class will focus on developing students’ confidence in English by providing them with effective strategies and skills. We will explore the world using the Reading Explorer Series and through each engaging unit students will develop a wide range of vocabulary and read a diverse array of texts. The class is designed to help students speak and create natural conversation in English. To achieve this we will learn 2 important skills: ☀️Keyword notes ☀️Writing dialogues Units from the Reading Explorer series will be provided to match students’ English ability and personal interests. The class will last 2 weeks and students will learn how to understand and interpret a text using keyword notes and spend time creating dialogues related to the content we have studied. Each week will have 2, 50 minute classes focusing on vocabulary, critical thinking skills, and writing responses. *Suitable for learners aged 10+ *Work will be provided as a PDF

Reading and Understanding
We will read a text and discuss it. The learner will be prompted to answer questions about it. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Keyword Notes
We will learn about keyword notes and analyze a text using the keyword notes skill. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Making a Dialogue
We will work on creating a dialogue with vocabulary from the text. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Review!
We will review the skills we learned and any new vocabulary or phrases. 50 mins online live lesson
