Creating a Dungeons & Dragons character can seem daunting, but this class will take students through the process step-by-step. While some knowledge of D&D is helpful, it is not necessary. I do recommend having a copy of the Player's Handbook, but I will be screen-sharing to show information. In this class, we will discuss - Ability scores: what they are and how to get them - Character race options - Character class options - Choosing a character's starting equipment - Choosing a background that will impact a character's abilities and backstory - Choosing personality traits, bonds, and flaws that will help define a character's personality in role-playing - Fleshing out the backstory to create a well-rounded character Due to the nature of the class, I will not be able to spend as much one-on-one time with students and their specific characters. This class is smaller, so I can answer any questions and provide extra help when it is needed, but I am also happy to create a private character building class, if desired.
