In this 4 week live class, we'll create our own complete, original Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and learn everything you need to know to run them as Dungeon Master with friends and family. Newbie DMs will learn everything they need to know from the instructor, a seasoned DM. Even veteran DMs will enjoy creating their own original campaign and sharing ideas with other students and the instructor. The plan for making our original campaigns is: Week 1: Create the storyline for your campaign: plot and characters Week 2: Crafting encounters: monster battles, puzzles, side quests, and more! Week 3: Worldbuilding: creating the world of your campaign with maps and the theater of the mind Week 4: How to DM your new campaign: lead a character creation session, roleplay NPCs (non-player characters), manage combat, and consult D&D resources on the fly Then, go DM your campaign with friends and family! Finally, I recommend checking out my Teacher Profile, especially my Teaching Philosophy section, to make sure this is a fit for your student. I also offer this as a Self-Paced Class if your student prefers that method of instruction: https://outschool.com/classes/dungeons-and-dragons-dungeon-master-bootcamp-7Qy4wpyb#usu529M6QA See you in class!
