With this rich background, I offer students real-world insights and performance techniques to enhance their drumming journey. Comprehensive Learning for All Levels: Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced player, I customize each session to their individual needs. Using high-quality equipment—multiple camera angles, professional microphones, and top-tier drum gear—I create an immersive and engaging learning environment. What We Offer: Beginner Students: We'll build a strong technical foundation with exercises focused on stick grip, speed, and coordination. Drumset Students: Learn different grooves, fills, and methods to create ease of playing on the drumset. I teach applying rudiments on the drumset so you can be creative and confident in your own playing. Band/Orchestra Students: Learn orchestral techniques for snare drum, mallets, and more. Advanced Players: Delve into complex rudiments, rhythm studies, and intricate grooves to expand your skill set. Engaging and Goal-Oriented: Each lesson is designed to make learning fun and productive. Students can bring their favorite songs to work on, making the experience exciting and personalized. We will set performance goals, allowing your child to showcase their progress and build confidence in their abilities. What to Expect: The main focus of this course is to establish a solid foundation in music reading, performance, technique, and aural skills specifically for the drums. Each lesson begins with an invigorating warm-up session that incorporates a variety of exercises. These exercises know as rudiments and stick control exercises are taught to each student to help increase there skills as they develop as a drummer. Students with drum-sets or drum pads are encouraged to join and will be given level appropriate exercises to join in on the ongoing lessons. After the warm-up, the lesson material is presented to the students through engaging activities like call and response exercises or lessons sourced from a dedicated book for drum-set. Students with drum-pads will be able to play along with the rhythms as well. Throughout the course, I adopt an interactive teaching approach that encourages student participation through discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and fostering their creative expression. I also ensure that students receive clear demonstrations of each task so they can confidently perform them on their own. I am a firm believer in being able to demonstrate at a professional level what you are teaching. Each exercise is tailored to meet the needs of the individual student. We will use the rhythms and grooves we learn to play along with a songs and solos. Teacher support outside of class is always available. Learning Goals

I have toured extensively with bands across the U.S. and abroad and had the privilege of playing with Stix, Art Garfunkel, Ben Folds, Yo Yo Ma and Andrea Bocelli to name a few. I have taught beginner to advanced college players. I have helped students successfully audition and be accepted to major Universities.
