In this one-time class, students will have the opportunity to draw a butterfly out of shapes. Throughout the class, students will be learning fun facts all about butterflies! Students will follow a step-by-step drawing tutorial of a butterfly out of shapes! This is an incredibly involved hands-on teaching style and students will have multiple opportunities to ask and answer questions. At the end of class, students will get to be involved in a Trivia Game! This game will be questions causally related to the fun facts learned during class! No required experience or knowledge needed.

Students will need to have a sheet of paper and something to draw with! (pencil, crayon, marker, pen, colored pencil, etc)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello, I'm Ms. Emily! I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 4.5 years. I began my career after relocating from Florida to Las Vegas and found my love for children and education. I am currently working on my bachelors degree in Nursing with the passion to become a Pediatrics ICU Nurse. With having family members who are deaf, I fell in love with the beautiful language of American Sign Language. I grew a love for teaching ASL while including preschool basics such as letters, numbers, mannerisms, and MORE! I am currently expecting my FIRST child (Due December 3rd), and I am also an Aunt to 6 awesome nieces and 3 awesome nephews! I love to teach them new things everyday. I feel children learn more when the learning is FUN! More fun = more engaged = more enjoyable learning!
