In this class we will be drawing 5 animals. (Fish, Lion, Penguin, Dog, Cat.) For younger students we will review the shape she which we will be using. We will also take time to talk about each animal. During class we will talk and students will have a chance to ask questions and engage with classmates. This class is for beginners or children who want to draw the easy way. Each animal will be drawn step by step. Children will have a chance to share their artwork with their new friends during and at the end of each class.
Learning Goals
Students will has have the chance to engage with the teacher and other students. They will also have a chance to work on motor, verbal and spacial skills. Most importantly they will HAVE FUN!

Supply List
Students will need paper, pencil and eraser, coloring items. (If time permits they can color them in!)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
