Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Join me each week for a fun, step-by-step drawing class where we’ll create a new vehicle using basic shapes, lines, and lots of creativity! No prior experience is necessary, and you can drop in or rejoin at any time.
.
Each class starts with exciting clues about the mystery vehicle we'll be drawing, along with fun facts and jokes. I’ll guide students through the drawing process with two cameras—one overhead and one front-facing—to make it easy to follow along.
.
Students will practice using colors and shapes, and I’ll encourage them to add their own creative touches to their backgrounds.
.
It’s an ART-tastic time where students can build their skills and share their progress each week—come draw with us!
.
Sharing and Collaboration:
Although sharing is not required, students will always have the opportunity to present and discuss their artwork at the end of each class. This collaborative space fosters an environment where students can appreciate the beauty in each other’s unique creations and gain valuable feedback on their work.
.
Respect for Diversity:
In my lessons, the focus is on artistic techniques and creativity, rather than specific holidays or spiritual beliefs. However, I welcome students to incorporate their own personal interests, traditions, and holidays into their artwork if they wish. Students are encouraged to share their ideas with the class, adding an enriching layer of diversity to the creative process.
.
Class Attendance and Policies:
*Class Timing: All classes begin promptly at the scheduled time. If no students are present within 10 minutes of the start time, I will exit the classroom.
.
*Absences: No refunds are provided for missed classes. If you are unable to attend, you may request a recording of the missed lesson. Please note that access to recordings is at the teacher's discretion and is not guaranteed.
.
*Schedule Changes: If your schedule changes, I am happy to transfer students into another time slot with 24 hours' notice. You may also pause or stop a subscription at any time.
.
*Waitlist: To secure your spot in a class with limited availability, you may remain enrolled and request a recording of any missed classes. You can also send photos of your artwork for personalized feedback.
.
Communication:
If you have any questions or concerns about the course, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am here to support your creative journey!
.
This course offers fresh, original lessons each week for a duration of TWO YEARS. As a result, a lesson given on December 10, 2025, will not be repeated until approximately December 10, 2027. Over this period, I will teach two full years of new material in every class. Students are welcome to revisit any lesson they have previously attended, and I highly encourage this practice. Repeating lessons can reinforce skills and contribute to the development of an art portfolio that clearly demonstrates progress over time.
.
MATERIALS:
Pencil, Eraser, Crayons (or anything preferred to color with such as colored pencils, chalk, pastels, paint etc. to color with) and Drawing Paper (Printer Paper or Sketchbook Works Fine)
.
HOWEVER:
If, for any reason, a student is away from these materials: all are welcome to use whichever prefered art supplies you have! (Example: some students, while traveling, may not have access to paper but are welcome to create a digital creation by drawing with any digital tools you may have!)
