A multi-page handout will be provided which gives learners the option review how to draw each shape in a trace format and then blank space to practice their shape freehanded. Learners should follow along with the video each week on their on paper or whiteboard to create their drawings. Students should submit at least 1 photo of their creation along with 1 fun fact about one of the animals they chose to the classroom no later than Friday at 5pm. A weekly Q&A thread will be available for students who have questions during their studies each week. I will also be providing mid-week video clips sharing with my students what I like to do in my free time and asking them to submit picture/video clips of what they enjoying outside of the classroom, too! I am also available to students through direct message and will respond to questions within 24 hours. I encourage students to interact as a class by sharing their favorite animals and facts about them and I will help facilitate classroom discussions about their favorite colors to draw with, favorite shapes and dinosaurs they find interesting. Students will also interact with each other by sharing the video clips/pictures of things they enjoy doing outside of the classroom if they choose. These additional conversation posts will be posted throughout the week and will help create a classroom environment. Learners do not need to be artists to enjoy and succeed in this class! They only need a desire to have fun and create art through the use of objects in their environment. This is a flexible schedule course, which means there are NO LIVE CLASSES. I will post materials on a weekly schedule and learners will be responsible for watching each video and completing a piece of art and sharing a fun fact each week.
