In this class, students will learn basic drawing techniques and terminology to create their own unique piece of art each week. Students will learn how to use texturing, stippling, light & shadow and cross hatching to add effect and interest to each piece. Students will follow along with the teacher step-by-step to fine tune their skills and be given feedback. Students are encouraged to engage with the class and teacher by asking questions and sharing their progress. Students are encouraged to share their finished piece with the class via the classroom board. Recordings of the class will be available for students wishing to go over techniques and terminology again. Breakdown of Each Week: Week 1: Still Life Drawing Shadows Week 2: Cross Hatching Week 3: Pointillism (Stippling) Week 4: Drawing Texture
