Week 1: Prehistory of sharks, Introduction to scientific illustration, learn facts about and how to draw Great White Shark. Short, fun research assignment will be given at the end of class, to be completed for the final class. I love to draw animals, and I have developed ways to break down the steps to teach kids how to draw animals. I also happen to be married to a "Sharkcyclopedia!" My husband never misses Shark Week, and is incredibly knowledgeable about these amazing predators. Scientific Illustration is the perfect bridge between art and science!
