This class will teach all about sloths while we draw a simple sloth picture. We have an educator that will be discussing with the kids about the different parts, eyes, ears, toes, body etc of a sloth and why it is shaped as it is, all while we step by step (directive drawing) draw a picture of one. To help us understand how special and unique these creatures are we will get help from our live Animal Ambassador Sloth named Paco!! The class will be free flowing allowing kids to ask questions. No experience or knowledge is necessary. All drawing skill levels are welcome. Directive drawing is about 30 minutes of the class. Discussion, questions and answers is about 15 minutes. Teacher expertise and credentials
We are currently taking a break from teaching with Outschool. To learn more about our organization please find us online!
We are a wildlife outreach & education facility located in sunny Southern California. For over three decades, we have been providing homes for animals in need; scaly, furry, or feathery or no bones at all. These animals are specifically trained to be around people & groups in order to share & teach about their cousins in their natural habitats.By creating a personal connection with our Animal Ambassadors we hope to inspire people to action, big or small, to help conserve the Earth we all live on.
We believe learning should be fun! Our professional Wildlife Educators incorporate “edu-tainment” into our programs that vary from Rainforest Conservation to Animal Adaptations. Engaging learners with fun intertwined with facts and laughs. Each class will introduce you to a few of our Animal Ambassadors to help us learn about the topic of the course.
