Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
We’ve all heard of unicorns but what do they look like in different cultures? Are they outgoing and energetic? are they graceful and independent? Do they have the body of a rhinoceros? In some stories, yes they do.

Let’s gather to learn a little bit about unicorns across different cultures. In this class we will discuss what we know about unicorns, look at pictures and learn about different types of unicorns, hear a short story, and draw our very own version of a unicorn that we will share and discuss with the group.

This class will be teacher led and will present information in Google Slides. I have designed this class with a lot of discussion to keep students engaged and interacting with one another.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Since I was 8 years old, I have always had a passion for learning about mythology and folklore. I have read many books and done lots of research to expand my knowledge of this subject. My passion started from reading Greek Mythology and has slowly broadened into other cultures and time periods.
